Pros and cons
HONOR
Pros
- One catalogue covers laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, so a laptop, a gaming laptop and a tablet can be ordered from the same seller.
- Laptop memory reaches 32 GB, giving buyers planning to keep a machine for years a clear ceiling to shop to.
- Support spans email, chat and phone, and a help centre is present on 96.7% of tracked brands, so the reach is standard for a large maker.
Cons
- A 1 year warranty puts HONOR at 14 of 34 brands ranked on warranty years, short of the 2 upper quartile across the site.
- Gaming laptops appear in laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, yet graphics come only from intel, and NVIDIA or AMD chips cover 70.3% of tracked brands each. CyberPowerPC lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop.
- Buying runs on GB alone, so anyone outside that single market has no local purchase or support route from HONOR Device Co., Ltd..
Loop Mobile
Pros
- Refurbished phones are graded like new, excellent and good, so you choose the wear you will live with.
- Returns run 30 days, which places the shop at position 3 of 80 brands ranked on return days.
- Batteries are held to a health floor of 80%, removing the most common worry with a used phone.
Cons
- Cover is modest, with 12 months on phones and 1 year on the computer range, under the site upper quartile of 2.
- Build to order is no for the Mac collection, so a specific configuration is not something you can ask for.
- Graphics in the Mac range come down to apple, leaving no room for another GPU brand.
Who each suits
HONOR

- Shoppers who want several support routes, since email, chat and phone cover phone, chat, email and a help centre.
Who should look elsewhere
- Gamers shopping for graphics choice: intel is the only GPU brand in the range, where CyberPowerPC lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop.
- Buyers who want more device types in one order: laptop, gaming laptop and tablet ends at tablets, where Scan lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop and GEEKOM lists mini pc and laptop.
Loop Mobile
Who it suits
- Buyers in the countries Loop Mobile serves, listed as US, AU and GB, who want one shop for a graded phone, a laptop and a tablet.
- People who want support on more than email, since the team answers on email, phone and help centre.
- Shoppers who plan a purchase around battery condition, because every battery clears 80%.
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers after a wider department spread, since Akkuk.hu covers computers, phones and audio, further than computers, phones and audio.
- Audio first shoppers who want a specialist, since JBL's audio, gaming and refurbished is a tighter list than computers, phones and audio.
- Shoppers after TV, gaming or camera kit, since Banggood lists computers, phones and audio and those departments sit outside computers, phones and audio.

Questions about each
HONOR
What does a HONOR laptop cost at the entry level?+
HONOR lists entry pricing at £449.99 for its MagicBook laptops, placing the brand at 22 of 34 brands ranked on price from. Gaming laptops and tablets sit in the same catalogue under Windows and Android.
Does HONOR run a student discount?+
Yes, HONOR offers a student discount, and student pricing appears on 100% of brands tracked, so the scheme is common rather than unusual. Stacking it on the £449.99 entry price lowers the cost of a laptop for study buyers.
Loop Mobile
What does a refurbished iPhone cost at Loop Mobile?+
Refurbished iPhones start at $454, and that figure sits at the bottom of the range rather than in the middle of it. Condition grade moves the price from there, so a like-new handset costs more than a fair one. The listed figure is the entry point for the phone range, not a fixed price for every device in the shop.
What condition are the refurbished phones in, and are they unlocked?+
Loop Mobile grades its refurbished phones as like new, excellent and good, so you can see how much wear a device carries before you pay. Condition is a property of the individual handset rather than one house standard. Phones are also listed as unlocked, and the phone range covers iOS and Android devices, so Android handsets sit alongside Apple ones.
