Our verdict
Fossibot suits buyers who want a new Android handset or a rugged phone without flagship pricing, and the terms around the product are generous for the money. Entry pricing sits at $119.99, the warranty runs 24 months, and the returns window stretches to 30 days.

Pros and cons
Pros
- New handsets start at $119.99, close to Oukitel's $107.99
- The warranty runs 24 months, well beyond the 12 months typical across the site
- Returns run 30 days, ranking 2 of 42 brands on our data
- The range spans new phones and rugged phones, covering standard and rugged handsets in one store
- Memory goes up to 36 GB across the range
Cons
- Contact is limited to email and help centre, so a hardware fault means writing in and waiting
- The range runs Android only, which narrows the choice for anyone who prefers another platform
- Entry pricing places Fossibot 12 of 29 brands, above Oukitel at $107.99
Who it suits
- Budget buyers who want a new handset rather than a refurbished unit
- People who need a rugged handset for site or outdoor work
- Shoppers who read a long warranty as more useful than a discount
Who should look elsewhere
- Buyers who want refurbished stock or a foldable, since Mozillion covers new phones, refurbished phones and foldables while the Fossibot range is new phones and rugged phones
- Shoppers who want one tidy new-phone line rather than a mixed range, since Nothing lists new phones
- Buyers chasing the lowest entry price, since Oukitel starts at $107.99
Core features
Fossibot puts the cover before the spec sheet, and those terms are the reason to look here. Handsets ship with a 24 months warranty, longer than the 12 months seen across most of the site, so a manufacturing fault is still covered after the initial period ends. The returns window runs 30 days from delivery, which gives a new handset a fair trial at home before a decision gets made. Against rivals priced in the same bracket, that pairing is the strongest part of the offer, and it applies across the range rather than to one model.
How it compares on our data
Against the wider field, Fossibot is strong on the terms around the product and softer on the entry price itself. On warranty length it ranks 2 of 33 brands, and on the returns window it ranks 2 of 42, which puts the brand near the front on both measures. Entry price is the weaker side of that ledger: Fossibot sits 12 of 29 brands on price from, a middle position rather than the cheapest on the board. The cover and the returns terms carry the case here, and the starting figure is competitive without setting the floor.
The company behind it
Fossibot is a young operation. It was founded in 2022 and is based in the United States, trading under the legal entity NILESco INC. Support is handled through email and help centre, so most answers come from written documentation or an email reply. Live chat sits outside that list, and a question about a faulty handset means waiting on a written answer rather than reaching someone straight away. That suits buyers comfortable reading setup guides and forums before they need help, and suits anyone hoping for a quick voice conversation about a problem far less well.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Fossibot handset cost?+
New handsets begin at $119.99. On our data that places Fossibot 12 of 29 brands on entry price, so the figure is competitive rather than the cheapest available. Oukitel sits a little lower at $107.99.
How long is the warranty on a Fossibot device?+
Handsets carry a 24 months warranty, and tablets in the range carry 2 years of the same cover. That sits above the 12 months seen across the wider site and ranks Fossibot 2 of 33 brands on warranty length.
What is the returns window at Fossibot?+
Returns run 30 days from delivery, which gives a new handset time to be used properly before a call is made. On our data that places Fossibot 2 of 42 brands ranked on returns, one of the stronger placements in the comparison.
Which operating system do Fossibot devices run?+
Everything in the range runs Android. Buyers already set up with that system can move straight in, while anyone who prefers a different platform has fewer options here than at a store that carries several systems side by side.
How do I get help from Fossibot?+
Support runs on email and help centre, so answers come from the help centre or by email. Live chat sits outside that list, which means a question about a faulty handset waits on a written reply. Reading the setup material before a device arrives saves a round trip.
Where does Fossibot sell and ship?+
Fossibot is based in the United States and trades as NILESco INC. Shipping reaches US, CA and DE, covering North America, several European markets and Japan. Buyers outside those markets are better served by a store closer to home, so check the list before ordering.
Can I get a rugged handset from Fossibot?+
The range covers new phones and rugged phones, so standard handsets and rugged models are both sold from one store. That makes it worth a look for site work or outdoor use, where a sealed body and a 24 months warranty matter more than a slim frame.
Does Fossibot sell refurbished or foldable phones?+
Fossibot lists new phones and rugged phones for its range, which covers new and rugged handsets. Buyers after refurbished stock or a foldable are better placed with Mozillion, whose range covers new phones, refurbished phones and foldables. The same applies to anyone who wants a single tidy new-phone line, which is what Nothing offers through new phones.
Does Fossibot make cameras as well as phones?+
Alongside the handsets, Fossibot sells an action camera. Its headline is 8k video at a weight of 205 grams, which makes it a chunky camera to carry in a pocket. It suits trail and action recording rather than everyday snapshots.
