GizmoCue is a comparison site run by a small editorial group that keeps its distance from the brands it writes about. Partner status buys no kinder paragraph. We earn a commission when you buy through links on this site, and partners are listed first in every ranking, then by score. A commercial relationship never decides how the verdict reads.
Every page sets side-by-side comparisons around what shoppers weigh when money is on the line: the price and its billing period, the plan behind it, warranty length, return terms, limits and quotas, and the specs that tell models apart. A laptop guide reads differently from a phone guide, and the audio, gaming and maker sections follow their own checklists instead of borrowing a phone's priorities for a screen you have never held.
Numbers alone rarely settle a purchase. Reliability, support and how long a warranty actually lasts often matter more than a headline figure, so the pages show the trade-off rather than one winner you have to accept on trust. Prices come in the currency of the market you shop in, and the rules that bite hardest, such as warranty terms and what a seller must take back, sit inside the comparison instead of in a footnote.
The same standard applies whether a label pays us or not. Entries are corrected when a price, plan or term shifts, and a listing that no longer makes sense comes down instead of lingering. Independence is not a line in a footer. It is the reason a partner cannot move a score or a sentence. Read the price, check the plan, then decide with the whole comparison in front of you.

What we do

How we are funded
