Pros and cons
AGM Mobile
Pros
- Price from $59.29 puts AGM Mobile at 4 of 29 brands on entry price.
- Handsets are sold unlocked and run Android, so there is no carrier lock to work around.
- Cover is included: a 12 months warranty on phones and 1 year on audio and accessories.
Cons
- Returns run 15 days, placing AGM Mobile at 28 of 42 brands on the return window.
- Support runs on email, help centre and community, and a voice line is not among those channels.
- A 12 months warranty ranks 12 of 33, so cover sits in the middle of the field rather than above it.
Orchard Labs
Pros

- Trade in is accepted, so an older handset has a route to becoming part of the purchase.
Cons
- Warranty runs 3 months and ranks 30 of 33, the weakest part of the deal.
- Delivery covers the single market listed under CA, so shoppers outside Canada are not served.

Questions about each
AGM Mobile
How much do phones cost at AGM Mobile?+
Phones start at $59.29, which places AGM Mobile at 4 of 29 brands on price from. The range covers new phones and rugged phones, so a buyer can move from a basic feature phone up to a rugged handset. Delivery is free, with a $0 threshold, which keeps the landed cost close to the shelf figure.
Are the handsets sold unlocked?+
Yes. Phones are sold unlocked, and they run Android. That means a handset can be moved between networks without a carrier unlock code, which suits anyone changing network, keeping a second SIM arrangement or travelling between markets with the same device.
Orchard Labs
How much does Orchard Labs cost to start?+
Prices begin at CAD 199. That entry figure applies across the range listed under new phones, refurbished phones and refurbished tablets, so a shopper on a tight budget can start with a new handset or a refurbished one without moving to a different seller. Prices are quoted in the Canadian store.
How long is the warranty?+
The warranty runs 3 months. That is short, and it ranks 30 of 33 in our data, so it reads as cover for early faults rather than long term protection. Anyone keeping a handset for years should plan for repairs outside the warranty.
