Our verdict

BuyDig suits shoppers buying a laptop, desktop, gaming PC or tablet who want a broad catalogue and a refurbished line in the same basket. It ships to US, CA and GB with returns running 30 days, so a large screen that arrives faulty is easy to send back.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Neither Akkuk.hu nor Banggood lists a refurbished category, per computers, phones and audio and computers, phones and audio, so the renewed shelf here has no direct rival in this group.
  • Refurbished stock is graded like new, which is a specific condition label rather than a vague refurbished tag.
  • Monitor panels cover ips, va, oled, mini-led and tn per ips, va and oled, and the gaming range reaches 480 Hz.
  • Cell phones are unlocked and run Android per Android, so handsets are not tied to a carrier.

Cons

  • Refurbished cover runs 3 months, well short of the 1 to 3 year terms quoted on monitors.
  • The dead pixel policy is no, so a panel fault is not treated as a covered defect under the warranty terms.
  • Support runs on help centre and phone only, which leaves anyone wanting live chat without a listed route.
  • Only Android is listed as the phone operating system per Android, so the handset range suits Android buyers and little beyond that.

Who it suits

  • Shoppers buying a laptop, desktop, gaming PC or tablet who want the whole order from a single store.
  • Refurbished buyers who want like new grade stock and can live with a 3 month warranty.
  • Gamers shopping high refresh monitors, where the range reaches 480 Hz with oled, mini-led and tn panels available.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Speakers and headphones first, because JBL concentrates on audio, gaming and refurbished per audio, gaming and refurbished rather than whole computers.
  • Anyone not after renewed kit, since Banggood per computers, phones and audio and Akkuk.hu per computers, phones and audio list the same computer, phone, audio, tv, gaming, camera and appliance categories without a refurbished line.

The company behind it

BuyDig has been trading since 1983 from a base in the United States, which is the starting point for judging whether a store will still be standing when a warranty needs work. Support runs on help centre and phone, so a phone line sits alongside a self-service help centre for anyone working through a fault or a delivery query. Buyers weighing this store against a newer name should read both points together: the founding year speaks to staying power, and the support channels speak to how quickly a problem gets picked up after purchase.

How BuyDig compares

Frequently asked questions

How long are returns at BuyDig?+

Returns run 30 days, and the same policy sits behind the categories listed in computers, phones and audio, so a faulty laptop or a changed-mind monitor can go back without a rushed trip to the carrier. That window is the single most useful number to hold on to when comparing electronics stores.

Does delivery cost anything?+

Delivery is free with a threshold of $0, so nothing has to be spent before the free rate applies. Shoppers splitting a large order across computers, phones and audio are not paying a shipping line just to get started, which keeps the entry cost of a big basket low.

How do I reach support?+

Support runs on help centre and phone, so there is a help centre for self-service and a phone line for anything more involved. For a fault on hardware still inside its 1 to 3 year warranty, the phone route is the faster of those.

What warranty comes with refurbished items?+

Refurbished stock is graded like new and covered for 3 months, a short window for a machine bought as a saving. Newer monitor lines carry 1 to 3 year terms, so the gap matters most on high refresh screens where a fault is costly to live with.

Which countries does it ship to?+

Orders go to US, CA and GB from a base in the United States, so the US, Canada, the UK and Australia are all reachable. A return window of 30 days applies, which is worth checking before ordering a large monitor from another country.

Are the phones unlocked and which system do they run?+

Phones are unlocked and the listed operating system is Android per Android, so handsets arrive without a carrier lock. The handset entry point is $869, which sets the starting line for a phone order drawn from the wider computers, phones and audio range.

What monitors are on offer?+

Monitor panels cover ips, va, oled, mini-led and tn per ips, va and oled, which is a broad spread for a store of this size. The gaming monitor range reaches 480 Hz at the top, with 1 to 3 years of warranty on those screens.

What happens if a display arrives with a dead pixel?+

The dead pixel policy is no, which means a panel fault is not treated as a covered defect under the warranty terms. A return inside 30 days is the route that works, and renewed kit then falls back on the 3 month cover after that.
