Our verdict

MoreThisWay suits UK shoppers who want a specialist rather than a general electronics market, with handhelds from £5.99, a 30 day returns window and free delivery past £60. Founded in 2023 and run as Lumean Ltd, it keeps a narrow range across audio, gaming and refurbished and support runs on email, chat and phone.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A 30 day returns window is the most generous of this store's headline terms.
  • Free delivery starts at £60, a basket size most audio and gaming orders clear easily.
  • Handhelds start at £5.99, so a portable console is a cheap entry into the range.
  • Support runs on email, chat and phone, more ways in than a single channel store.

Cons

  • Its range covers only audio, gaming and refurbished, a narrow set beside computers, phones and audio at Akkuk.hu.
  • Within consoles, handheld is the only product type listed, so anyone after a full console setup has little to choose from here.
  • It sells in GB only, so shoppers outside the UK fall outside the 30 day returns window.
  • The 30 day window places it 3 of 80 stores compared on returns.

Who it suits

  • UK buyers after a portable console at £5.99 who want a 30 day returns window.
  • Refurbished shoppers who would rather have audio, gaming and used gear in one place than browse a broad list such as computers, phones and audio.
  • People who want email, chat and phone support routes and only need to deal with a seller operating in the United Kingdom.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Shoppers who want a full electronics sweep: Akkuk.hu carries computers, phones and audio against this store's audio, gaming and refurbished.
  • Buyers after refurbished phones specifically, since Mozillion centres on phones and refurbished.
  • Anyone ordering from outside GB, who may prefer a wider catalogue like the computers, phones and audio range at Banggood.

The company behind it

MoreThisWay trades as Lumean Ltd and is based in the United Kingdom, so the company behind the site is named and its home market is clear. It began trading in 2023, which places it among the newer names in UK electronics retail rather than a long established high street outfit. Support runs on email, chat and phone, covering email, chat, phone and a help centre so buyers can pick the route that suits the question. For shoppers who value direct contact and a named trading company over a long history, that mix works in its favour.

Frequently asked questions

Who runs MoreThisWay and where is it based?+

MoreThisWay trades as Lumean Ltd and is based in the United Kingdom. It has been selling since 2023, which makes it a young name in UK electronics retail. The trading company is named in its terms, so it is the name to check on an invoice or in a dispute.

How long do I have to return a product?+

The returns window is 30 days, which is generous for a UK electronics store. On that measure MoreThisWay sits at 3 of 80 stores compared, so the window is strong without topping the ranking. Faulty items and change of mind are worth reading separately in the returns policy.

Is delivery free, and at what basket size?+

Delivery is free once a basket passes £60. Smaller orders carry a charge, so adding a cheap accessory to a handheld can push a basket over the threshold. The store serves GB, so the threshold is aimed at UK buyers rather than an international shopper.

What does the store actually sell?+

The catalogue covers audio, gaming and refurbished, so audio, gaming and refurbished gear sit side by side. On the console side, handheld is the only product type listed. That is much narrower than computers, phones and audio at Akkuk.hu, which mixes audio and gaming with computers, phones and more.

How much do the handhelds cost?+

Handhelds start at £5.99, the entry price for a portable console rather than a typical one. Audio, gaming and refurbished items in audio, gaming and refurbished carry their own prices, so a larger basket can move past the free delivery threshold of £60.

Which countries can order from the store?+

The store serves GB, so it is built around UK buyers. Anyone ordering from outside that market should weigh delivery cost and returns first, because the 30 day window is written for the home market. A broader catalogue from a store such as Banggood may suit shoppers who need several categories at once.

How can I get help from support?+

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so email, chat, phone and a help centre are all available. Chat and phone suit a live order or delivery question, while the help centre handles the routine ones. A store limited to a single channel leaves you with fewer ways to reach anyone.

How does it compare with Akkuk.hu, Banggood and Mozillion?+

Akkuk.hu lists computers, phones and audio and Banggood lists computers, phones and audio, both far wider than audio, gaming and refurbished. Mozillion lists phones and refurbished, so it overlaps on refurbished gear. MoreThisWay scores 8.7 overall, with 9.4 on the offer and 8.4 on cost.
