Pros and cons
Pros
- Returns of 14 days apply to the whole basket, so a headset bought alongside a laptop can go back the same way the laptop would.
- Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a delivery problem can be sorted by phone instead of a form.
- Trade in is accepted, and refurbished handsets are graded as like new, very good and good, so the wear level is your choice rather than a surprise.
- Product types cover laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, which puts laptops, gaming laptops, tablets, desktops and mini PCs alongside phones and audio in the same order.
- Operating systems listed for the tablets run to Windows, macOS and Android, so Windows and macOS machines sit next to Android and ipados devices.
Cons
- Click and collect is not offered, so nothing can be collected on the day you order and everything is delivered.
- Build to order is not offered, so the specification is set by the store rather than chosen by you.
- Store categories are computers, phones and audio, which leaves televisions and cameras to Akkuk.hu and Banggood, which list them.
- It sells into GB only, so the range, the returns window and the support team do not reach buyers outside the UK.
Who it suits
- UK shoppers replacing a laptop, gaming laptop or mini PC who want to talk to someone by phone before they order.
- Anyone trading in an old phone and then picking a refurbished handset from like new, very good and good grades with 12 months of cover.
- Gamers and audio buyers after noise cancelling, wireless kits for pc and xbox and oled monitors under the same roof.
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone who needs a custom-built machine, because build to order is not offered here.
- Shoppers filling one basket with televisions and cameras, which both Akkuk.hu (computers, phones and audio) and Banggood (computers, phones and audio) cover.
What it does well
Returns of 14 days apply across the basket rather than to a subset of it, so a headset bought alongside a laptop can go back the same way the laptop would. Trade in is accepted, so an old phone, tablet or laptop can be handed in for credit against the replacement order instead of being sold on privately first. Click and collect is not offered, so every order comes to you and nothing is picked up in person.
Who runs it
The store trades as Hugh Symons Exchange Ltd., a company registered in the United Kingdom, which is also the only market listed for the range. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a question about a delivery or a return can go to a person on the phone rather than sitting in a queue, with email and a help centre alongside for anyone who prefers to write.
How Clove Technology compares
Banggood lists computers, phones and audio, a wider electronics spread for readers who want more than computers, phones and audio in a single order.

Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to return something bought from Clove Technology?+
Returns run for 14 days, and that window covers the whole range rather than only the expensive kit. Refurbished handsets come back under the same terms, and because they are graded as like new, very good and good the listing sets out the wear before you commit, so a graded unit that does not match your expectation can still go back.
Can I collect an order from Clove Technology in person?+
Click and collect is not offered, so orders are delivered rather than collected. If you are planning a visit rather than a doorstep delivery, trade in is the service that is available instead, so an old phone or laptop can be handed in for credit against the new order, with support on email, phone and a help centre either way.
What comes with a refurbished phone from Clove Technology?+
Refurbished phones carry 12 months of warranty, and battery health on the range starts at 70%. They are sold in like new, very good and good grades, so you choose how much visible wear you accept, and the handsets are unlocked, so the network you sign up with later is your choice.
What warranty do Clove Technology laptops and audio products come with?+
Warranty years of 1 year cover the gaming headset range, which is in line with the group median of 1, though the upper quartile of the group sits at 2 years. Phones carry 12 months. If you keep a machine for years, the length of the term is worth comparing before you order.
Where does Clove Technology sell, and which company runs it?+
The store is registered in the United Kingdom and trades as Hugh Symons Exchange Ltd., and GB is the only market listed, so the range, the delivery terms and the warranty are all set for UK buyers. Product types cover laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, which spans laptops, gaming laptops, tablets, desktops and mini PCs.
Which operating systems do Clove Technology computers run?+
Operating systems listed for the tablets and computers are Windows, macOS and Android, so Windows and macOS machines sit next to Android and ipados devices. Build to order is not offered, so the specification is set by the store rather than chosen on the page, which suits buyers who know the model they want and want it shipped.
What is the lowest price at Clove Technology?+
Prices start at £123.49 on the tablet and computer collection, and the range rises from there through laptops, gaming laptops, desktops and mini PCs. The store lists GB as its market, so the figure is quoted in UK pounds with UK delivery terms rather than converted for another country.
What audio and gaming gear can I buy at Clove Technology?+
The audio range includes noise cancelling headphones and earbuds, and the gaming headset range is wireless, with headsets listed for pc and xbox and aptx support in the audio collection. Monitors are listed with oled panels, so the gaming side is not limited to headsets and boxes.
How do I get help with an order at Clove Technology?+
Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a delivery that has slipped or a return that needs starting can go to the phone team, by email, or through the help centre. The company behind the store is Hugh Symons Exchange Ltd., the party named on the terms, and it is registered in the United Kingdom.
