Our verdict
asgoodasnew suits buyers who want a graded, warranted computer, tablet or e-reader without paying new prices. Its entry point of €117, 2.5 years of warranty cover and 30 days for returns put it ahead of the new-machine sellers next to it on price and on cover.

Pros and cons
Pros
- Cover runs 2.5 years, well past 1 for the brands compared.
- Returns run 30 days, so a graded machine can be examined at home before a decision.
- Condition is graded openly across like new, excellent and good, so the tier is known before checkout.
- The catalogue spans laptop, desktop and tablet, a wider set of computer types than the mini pc and laptop at GEEKOM.
- Store categories reach computers, phones and audio, so computers, audio, gaming and cameras sit with a single seller.
Cons
- Build to order is no, so configurations arrive finished rather than assembled to a brief.
- Phone is not among its support channels (email and help centre), so questions are handled in writing rather than by a call.
- Shipping covers the markets in Austria, DE and ES only, so buyers elsewhere need a local seller or a forwarder of their own.
- Graphics are listed as apple and intel, which narrows gaming buyers compared with the gaming-first range at CyberPowerPC.
Who it suits
- Buyers who accept a graded machine to reach a lower entry point than €117 on comparable new hardware.
- Households that want 2.5 years of cover on a computer rather than the shorter terms common across the group.
- Tablet and e-reader buyers who want laptop, desktop and tablet in the same catalogue, with trade in and returns handled alongside.
Who should look elsewhere
- GEEKOM shoppers who want a new mini-PC or laptop picked to a specification rather than graded stock at a set grade.
- Scan and CyberPowerPC buyers who need build to order machines and Nvidia or AMD gaming graphics under the same roof.
What it does well
The catalogue covers laptop, desktop and tablet, so a laptop, desktop, tablet or e-reader can come from the same seller. Build to order is no, which suits people content to take a finished machine rather than brief a shop on parts. Memory goes up to 24 GB. Cover is the strong point: 2.5 years of warranty, with an extended warranty offered for anyone who wants it to run longer. Returns run 30 days, which leaves room to open a graded laptop at home and check the screen, keyboard and battery against what arrived. Condition is labelled across like new, excellent and good, so a buyer can pick the tier that matches a budget and a tolerance for marks.
Where it sits among rivals
On entry price the brand sits at 6 of 34 brands ranked, with a starting point of €117. Across the field, starting prices run €33.92 to €201.87, with €86.82 in the middle, so an entry point at €117 falls inside the middle band rather than at the cheapest end. On warranty it also places at 6 of 34. That is the stronger of those positions: 2.5 years of cover against 1 for the group, with 1 at the lower end and 2 at the upper. The picture is a mid-priced seller with above-average cover.
Who runs it
The seller trades as asgoodasnew electronics GmbH, based in Germany. It has traded since 2008, long enough to have moved graded stock through its own warehouse across many cycles. Support runs on email and help centre, so questions are handled in writing and through the help centre. Graded machines are the core of the business, which is why the warranty and returns terms matter more here than a catalogue spread would suggest.

Frequently asked questions
What does the cheapest computer cost?+
The entry point is €117, and that is graded stock rather than a new machine. Across the brands compared, €86.82 is the middle starting price and the usual band runs €33.92 to €201.87. Because prices follow the condition grade, the same model can appear at several tiers.
How long is the warranty on a computer?+
Cover runs for 2.5 years, against 1 for the group, and an extended warranty is offered for buyers who want it to run longer. On graded hardware that length matters, since longer cover reduces the cost of an early fault. It sits among the longer terms in this field.
How long do I have to return a graded machine?+
Returns run for 30 days, so a laptop or tablet can be opened and checked at home rather than in a shop. Condition is graded across like new, excellent and good, and the return window gives time to compare what arrived with the grade that was advertised. Keep the packaging and accessories in place for a return.
Can I order a configuration of my choice?+
Build to order is no, so machines arrive as finished stock in the grades listed. That is the trade for the low entry point of €117. Memory tops out at 24 GB, and the graphics listed are apple and intel, so buyers set on a particular card will find more room elsewhere.
Which countries does the seller ship to?+
Shipping covers AT, DE and ES. The business is based in Germany and trades as asgoodasnew electronics GmbH, so an order outside that market list needs checking before it is placed. The catalogue itself runs to laptop, desktop and tablet, so a buyer can bundle a computer with a tablet or e-reader in the same basket.
How does this compare with GEEKOM?+
GEEKOM lists mini pc and laptop, which is new mini-PC and laptop territory picked by the buyer. This catalogue is graded stock across laptop, desktop and tablet, backed by 2.5 years of cover and 30 days of returns. A new machine suits specification choice; graded stock suits a lower outlay.
Can I trade in the device I already own?+
Trade in is available, and it sits alongside an extended warranty for buyers who want longer cover. Trade-in value depends on the device offered, so the condition grades listed across like new, excellent and good are the closest guide to what a machine is likely to be worth.
Which operating systems do the devices run?+
The catalogue covers macOS, ipados and Windows across its computer, tablet and e-reader lines, so a buyer can match the system already in use. Memory on the machines tops out at 24 GB. Since stock is graded rather than configured, the exact specification follows the unit that arrives.
