asgoodasnew suits buyers who want a graded, warranted computer, tablet or e-reader without paying new prices. Its entry point of €117, 2.5 years of warranty cover and 30 days for returns put it ahead of the new-machine sellers next to it on price and on cover.
HONOR
HONOR suits UK buyers who want a laptop or Android tablet at a modest entry price, with £449.99 as the starting figure and returns of 14 days. It earns a place for students and everyday computing, where email, chat and phone and a 1 year warranty matter more than graphics choice or cover length.

Pros and cons
asgoodasnew
Pros
- Cover runs 2.5 years, well past 1 for the brands compared.
- Returns run 30 days, so a graded machine can be examined at home before a decision.
- Condition is graded openly across like new, excellent and good, so the tier is known before checkout.
Cons
- Build to order is no, so configurations arrive finished rather than assembled to a brief.
- Phone is not among its support channels (email and help centre), so questions are handled in writing rather than by a call.
- Shipping covers the markets in Austria, DE and ES only, so buyers elsewhere need a local seller or a forwarder of their own.
HONOR
Pros
- One catalogue covers laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, so a laptop, a gaming laptop and a tablet can be ordered from the same seller.
- Laptop memory reaches 32 GB, giving buyers planning to keep a machine for years a clear ceiling to shop to.
- Support spans email, chat and phone, and a help centre is present on 96.7% of tracked brands, so the reach is standard for a large maker.
Cons
- A 1 year warranty puts HONOR at 14 of 34 brands ranked on warranty years, short of the 2 upper quartile across the site.
- Gaming laptops appear in laptop, gaming laptop and tablet, yet graphics come only from intel, and NVIDIA or AMD chips cover 70.3% of tracked brands each. CyberPowerPC lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop.
- Buying runs on GB alone, so anyone outside that single market has no local purchase or support route from HONOR Device Co., Ltd..
Who each suits
asgoodasnew
Who it suits
- Buyers who accept a graded machine to reach a lower entry point than €117 on comparable new hardware.
- Households that want 2.5 years of cover on a computer rather than the shorter terms common across the group.
- Tablet and e-reader buyers who want laptop, desktop and tablet in the same catalogue, with trade in and returns handled alongside.
Who should look elsewhere
- GEEKOM shoppers who want a new mini-PC or laptop picked to a specification rather than graded stock at a set grade.
- Scan and CyberPowerPC buyers who need build to order machines and Nvidia or AMD gaming graphics under the same roof.
HONOR
Who it suits
- UK buyers who want a laptop or tablet with a £449.99 entry price, 14 days returns and a 1 year warranty in the box.
- Students, who can apply the student discount to the £449.99 entry price and pair it with trade in on an old device.
- Shoppers who want several support routes, since email, chat and phone cover phone, chat, email and a help centre.
Who should look elsewhere
- Gamers shopping for graphics choice: intel is the only GPU brand in the range, where CyberPowerPC lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop.
- Buyers who want more device types in one order: laptop, gaming laptop and tablet ends at tablets, where Scan lists laptop, gaming laptop and desktop and GEEKOM lists mini pc and laptop.

Questions about each
asgoodasnew
What does the cheapest computer cost?+
The entry point is €117, and that is graded stock rather than a new machine. Across the brands compared, €86.82 is the middle starting price and the usual band runs €33.92 to €201.87. Because prices follow the condition grade, the same model can appear at several tiers.
How long is the warranty on a computer?+
Cover runs for 2.5 years, against 1 for the group, and an extended warranty is offered for buyers who want it to run longer. On graded hardware that length matters, since longer cover reduces the cost of an early fault. It sits among the longer terms in this field.
HONOR
What does a HONOR laptop cost at the entry level?+
HONOR lists entry pricing at £449.99 for its MagicBook laptops, placing the brand at 22 of 34 brands ranked on price from. Gaming laptops and tablets sit in the same catalogue under Windows and Android.
Does HONOR run a student discount?+
Yes, HONOR offers a student discount, and student pricing appears on 100% of brands tracked, so the scheme is common rather than unusual. Stacking it on the £449.99 entry price lowers the cost of a laptop for study buyers.
