Our verdict

AAAwave suits US shoppers who want a configured desktop, gaming PC or mini PC from a store trading since 2000, backed by 30 day returns and entry pricing at $895. Shoppers outside US, or after anything but Windows, will look elsewhere.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A 30 day returns window that places 3 of 80 stores in this return days ranking.
  • Build to order is listed as available, so a machine can be specified instead of taken as a fixed build.
  • The computing range covers desktop, gaming pc and mini pc, so desktops, gaming PCs and mini computers all sit under one roof.
  • Mini computers reach 128 GB of memory, enough for heavy desktop work in a compact box.
  • Wireless is listed as available for keyboards and mice, so a full desk setup can be ordered in one place.

Cons

  • The catalogue stops at computers, phones and audio, so televisions, cameras and appliances have no section here, while Akkuk.hu carries those ranges on computers, phones and audio.
  • Shipping is listed for US only, so an order from anywhere else falls outside the stated delivery policy.
  • Pre-built machines run on Windows alone, with no macOS or Linux systems in the list.
  • Graphics options are limited to nvidia and amd, leaving Intel and Apple Silicon builders to another shop.

Who it suits

  • US shoppers after a desktop, gaming PC or mini PC who want the build configured rather than fixed.
  • Buyers who treat a 30 day returns window as their main purchase comfort factor.
  • People on Windows who want their machine fitted with an NVIDIA or AMD card from nvidia and amd.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Buyers after a wider catalogue: Akkuk.hu covers tv, cameras and appliances as well as computers, phones, audio and gaming on computers, phones and audio.
  • Shoppers who want peripherals and appliances beyond PCs: Banggood spans computers, phones, audio, tv, gaming and appliances on computers, phones and audio.
  • Audio and gaming specialists: JBL concentrates on audio, gaming and refurbished lines on audio, gaming and refurbished, where AAAwave keeps its categories to computers, phones and audio.

Who runs it

Frequently asked questions

How long is the returns window at AAAwave?+

Buyers get 30 days to send an item back, and the stated returns policy covers build to order machines on the same terms. That window places 3 of 80 stores in this return days ranking, a solid position for a US electronics shop.

Can I order a PC built to my own specification?+

Build to order is listed as available, so a desktop, gaming PC or mini PC from desktop, gaming pc and mini pc can be specified rather than taken as a fixed configuration. Pre-built pricing starts at $895, which sets the floor for a customised machine too.

What categories does AAAwave cover?+

The catalogue runs to computers, phones and audio: computers, phones, audio and gaming. Televisions, cameras, appliances and refurbished stock sit outside those listed categories, so a shopper wanting a camera or a television would need a different store.

Does AAAwave ship outside the United States?+

Shipping is listed for US only, so a US address is the market the stated policy covers. Buyers in Europe, Asia or elsewhere are ordering outside that policy, which means delivery terms would need settling before a large desktop is bought.

How can I get help after ordering?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so email and phone sit alongside a self service help centre. Among the stores compared here a help centre appears at 96.7% and phone at 53.9%, so AAAwave covers the main direct routes.

Which operating systems do the PCs run?+

The pre-built range is listed under Windows, so the machines are Windows systems. No macOS or Linux desktops appear in that list, which rules the store out for buyers after either platform and keeps comparison across systems narrow.

How much memory do the mini PCs carry?+

Memory on the mini computer collection goes up to 128 GB, the ceiling stated for that range. That figure covers the whole collection rather than a single flagship model, and it suits heavy multitasking in a small form factor box.

Which graphics card brands can I choose?+

The listed GPU brands are nvidia and amd. The range is built around NVIDIA and AMD parts, which covers mainstream gaming and workstation cards, while Intel and Apple Silicon systems do not appear in that list.

Can I add wireless keyboards and mice to the same order?+

Wireless is listed as available for the keyboard and mouse range, so wireless peripherals can be bought alongside a computer. It is a smaller side of the catalogue, though: the main lines remain desktop, gaming pc and mini pc and the categories on computers, phones and audio.

Who is behind AAAwave?+

The store trades as AAAwave and is headquartered in the United States. It has been trading since 2000, so the company behind the catalogue is established rather than new, and support is handled by email, phone or the help centre on email, phone and help centre.
