Our verdict

Nacon suits shoppers who want a single maker across the whole desk, from a €19.90 starting point on headsets and controllers through to keyboards and mice, backed by a 2 year warranty. The trade-off is battery life: its wireless headset runs 24 hours, short of the 60 hour median here.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Nacon's controller, gaming headset and gaming keyboard matches HyperX's gaming headset, gaming mouse and gaming keyboard category for category, so a controller, headset, keyboard and mouse can all come from a single maker.
  • The range is listed for pc, playstation and xbox, so a single controller or headset covers a PC and a console session rather than needing a device-specific model.
  • A 2 year warranty, longer than the 1 year median term across this category, and Nacon ranks 5 of 40 brands on cover length.
  • Support runs on chat, email and phone, with phone and chat listed alongside email and a help centre.

Cons

  • Battery life is the weak point, at 24 hours on the wireless headset, below the 60 hour median brands in this group reach.
  • On entry price Nacon ranks 10 of 47 brands, so €19.90 undercuts the field without being the lowest on the board.
  • Standalone handhelds are not covered, since pc, playstation and xbox stops at PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile.

Who it suits

  • Shoppers building a full desk setup, since controller, gaming headset and gaming keyboard covers controller, headset, keyboard and mouse from a single brand.
  • Players who move between PC and console, because pc, playstation and xbox covers PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile.
  • Budget buyers, since headsets start at €19.90 and the 2 year warranty sits on the gear rather than on an add-on.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Headset-only buyers, who will find the same single category at Skullcandy, where gaming headset covers a gaming headset alone.
  • Buyers who want the longest run away from a socket, since 24 hours trails the 60 hour median in this category.
  • Players on a standalone handheld, because pc, playstation and xbox does not list a standalone platform.

What it does well

Wireless is available in the range, and the headset carrying the headline battery spec runs 24 hours untethered on a single charge. That figure is the one to check against your own sessions, since gaming away from a cable is where a shorter run shows up first. The warranty is the steadier side: 2 years of cover on the gear, which matters most if the headset is kept for years rather than swapped often. Buy on the term, and treat the battery as the number to plan charging around.

Where it sits among rivals

On entry price Nacon ranks 10 of 47 brands, which puts it in the cheaper part of the board without putting it at the very bottom. Warranty length is a tighter showing, at 5 of 40 brands, because fewer brands are ranked on cover length than on shelf price. Read them together and the profile is a brand that opens its range below the field and backs it with a term near the longer end of the category.

Who runs it

The company behind the range is Nacon, headquartered in France, and founded in 2019. That founding date makes it a comparatively young name here, with a shorter record than the older brands sharing this shelf. Support runs on chat, email and phone, so a headset fault can go to phone or chat as readily as to email or the help centre, and a brand of this age is worth weighing on its support reach and terms of sale rather than on name recognition.

Frequently asked questions

How cheap is a Nacon headset at the entry point?+

Headsets start at €19.90. That is the entry point for the audio range, and it sits under the €56.92 median starting price across brands in this category. Nacon ranks 10 of 47 brands on that figure, so the opening price is competitive without being the lowest on the board.

What warranty comes with Nacon gaming gear?+

Nacon carries a 2 year warranty, longer than the 1 year median term across this category, and the brand ranks 5 of 40 brands on cover length. A longer term is worth more on a headset you keep for years than on a headset you replace often, so it is the figure to weigh first.

How long does the battery last on a Nacon wireless headset?+

Wireless is available, so a headset can run untethered, and the battery on that model lasts 24 hours. That is below the 60 hour median brands in this group reach, so a long session away from a charger is where the shorter figure bites first.

Which platforms do Nacon controllers and headsets cover?+

Nacon lists pc, playstation and xbox, so the same range spans PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and mobile. That breadth is the practical reason controllers and headsets sit under one brand, since a single maker covers desktop, console and handheld sessions without a separate line of models for each device.

What kinds of gaming gear does Nacon sell?+

The range covers controller, gaming headset and gaming keyboard. That is the same set of types HyperX carries in gaming headset, gaming mouse and gaming keyboard, while CORSAIR lists gaming headset, gaming keyboard and gaming mouse without a controller and Skullcandy lists gaming headset alone, so a shopper building a full desk has the wider choice at Nacon or HyperX.

Who runs Nacon and where is it based?+

The legal entity is Nacon, headquartered in France and founded in 2019. A company that young has a shorter support and warranty track record than the established names in this comparison, so the stated term and the listed support channels are the parts worth reading closely before buying.

How do you get help from Nacon?+

Support runs on chat, email and phone, so chat, email, phone and a help centre are all available. Phone is the quickest route for a headset fault, where a diagnosis is easier by voice than by message, and listing it alongside chat and email shortens the wait for a worn pad or a dead channel.

Is Nacon a good pick for someone shopping on a budget?+

Entry pricing starts at €19.90, under the €56.92 median for this category, and the 2 year warranty sits on the gear rather than on an extra purchase. The trade-off is battery life, at 24 hours on the wireless model, so a budget buyer who plays near a cable is better served than one who plays away from a socket.
