Our verdict

Logitech G suits buyers who want a headset and a gamepad from one brand, with wireless headsets in the range and an LED status panel on the Astro showing 24 hours of battery left. Readers weighing cost should start from the wired pad, the entry item on the shop page.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • The Astro wireless headset shows 24 hours of battery on its LED status panel, so the charge remaining is readable at a glance.
  • Wireless models sit in the range, including a LIGHTSPEED headset with Bluetooth for pairing with more than one kind of device.
  • Headsets and gamepads sit in the same shop, so a headset and a pad can be ordered without moving between stores.
  • A wired gamepad is the entry item at $19.99, which keeps a first purchase modest.

Cons

  • The entry price of $19.99 belongs to a wired pad, so it says nothing about what a headset costs.
  • The 24 hours battery figure comes from the Astro on its own, so it does not describe every wireless headset in the range.
  • The quoted price is in dollars while the company behind the shop is Logitech Europe S.A. in Switzerland, so readers in other markets weigh their own figures.

Who it suits

  • Players who want a headset and a gamepad from one brand without moving between stores.
  • Wireless players who like watching the charge left, since the Astro puts it on an LED status panel.
  • Shoppers who want help across several routes, including phone and email.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Readers who need one battery figure covering every headset, since 24 hours is quoted for the Astro on its own.
  • Shoppers after an entry level headset price, since $19.99 belongs to a wired pad.

What it does well

The headset side leans wireless. The brand's own shop lists a LIGHTSPEED wireless headset with Bluetooth, so a headset can pair with more than one kind of device rather than serving a single setup. Wireless sits in the range as a normal choice, not as an extra you have to hunt for, and the Bluetooth option widens what one headset can cover. The Astro answers a different question, aimed at people who lose track of charge. Its LED status panel tells you how much of the remaining 24 hours of battery life is left, which takes the guesswork out of a long session. That figure is taken from the Astro product description, so read it as a claim for that headset rather than for every wireless model on the page. Between them, these two points suit players who care about pairing and about knowing how much charge remains. They say much less about the wired gamepads, where battery life plays no part and the deciding questions are layout, response and build instead.

Who runs it

Logitech G is run by Logitech Europe S.A., whose address sits in Lausanne in Switzerland. That entity is the party behind the shop pages, so it is the name a reader should expect to see on an invoice or at the foot of a support reply. Support is the other side of the operation. The company advertises customer service around the clock and lists chat, phone and email, among others as the ways to reach it, so a buyer can take a live route or work through the self service material first. A help centre and community boards sit alongside the direct lines for people who would rather search than write, and the mix means a question that stalls in one channel can move to another. For shoppers, the store front and the support operation belong to the same company, which keeps the product pages and the people answering setup questions in the same hands.

Frequently asked questions

What does Logitech G cost?+

The entry point on the shop page is a wired gamepad at $19.99, priced in dollars. Headsets, wireless models and higher spec controllers sit above that line with their own figures, so treat the gamepad price as where the store starts rather than what a headset costs. Buyers in other markets weigh their own store pricing.

Does Logitech G make wireless gear as well as wired?+

Both styles sit in the same shop. The headset category lists a LIGHTSPEED wireless headset with Bluetooth, and the gamepad category lists wired pads, so a buyer can pick either route without leaving the brand. The Astro, a wireless headset, is described with 24 hours of battery life and an LED status panel.

How long does the battery last on a Logitech G wireless headset?+

The Astro wireless headset is described with 24 hours of battery life, and its LED status panel tells you how much of that remains at a moment's notice. That figure comes from the Astro product description, so read it as a claim for that headset rather than for every wireless model in the range.

Which platforms do Logitech G headsets and gamepads run on?+

Headsets and gamepads cover PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, and the headset category page also lists Switch handheld support next to Switch itself. A household that mixes PC and Switch play, or owns current and previous generation hardware, can stay with one brand for both the headset and the pad.

Which countries can I buy Logitech G from directly?+

Direct online shopping is offered in 42 countries including Argentina, Australia and Austria, and each country has its own store page with local pricing. Readers outside that list would be ordering through a reseller or importer rather than the brand's own shop, which is worth checking before comparing prices or expecting local support.

Who runs Logitech G and how do I get help?+

The company behind the store is Logitech Europe S.A., based in Lausanne in Switzerland, and it advertises customer service around the clock. Help comes by chat, phone and email, with a help centre and community boards for people who prefer to search before they write. The store and the support desk sit in the same hands.

Who does Logitech G suit?+

Players who want a headset and a gamepad from one brand will find both in the same shop, and wireless buyers get 24 hours of battery life on the Astro with the charge shown on a panel. Readers who only need a wired pad can start from $19.99 at the bottom of the range.
