Our verdict

ModdedZone is a narrow, US-only controller specialist that suits buyers who want a modded pad on pc, playstation and xbox and will accept a short 0.25 years warranty. The entry price of €71.95 lands mid-table, so the appeal is scope and service, not cost.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Covers pc, playstation and xbox, so one controller line covers desktop and console setups.
  • Wireless is available, and extended warranty can be added on top of the standard cover.
  • Support runs on email, phone and help centre, including phone and a help centre.
  • Entry price of €71.95 sits close to the €56.92 median for the category.
  • Free delivery kicks in above $24.99, which keeps shipping costs predictable on larger orders.

Cons

  • The catalogue is limited to controller, unlike HyperX which also covers gaming headset, gaming mouse and gaming keyboard.
  • Warranty of 0.25 years is well under the 1 median across comparable brands.
  • Markets are limited to US, so buyers elsewhere pay delivery on every order.
  • Store categories cover gaming and audio only, against CORSAIR's broader gaming headset, gaming keyboard and gaming mouse hardware range.

Who it suits

  • US shoppers who want a modded controller for pc, playstation and xbox without visiting a specialist shop.
  • Players who prefer phone and help centre support, available through email, phone and help centre.
  • Anyone comfortable ordering from a single-market store with returns inside 14 days.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Headset buyers, since CORSAIR and Skullcandy both cover gaming headset, gaming keyboard and gaming mouse and gaming headset.
  • Shoppers wanting a long default warranty, where HyperX's gaming headset, gaming mouse and gaming keyboard lineup sits alongside a longer cover.
  • Anyone outside US, where delivery costs apply below the $24.99 threshold.

How it compares on our data

ModdedZone ranks 32 of 47 brands on price from, so its €71.95 entry point sits in the middle of the field rather than at either end. Against the category spread running from €7.01 to €4,050.64, that is a mid-market position. Warranty years of 0.25 years place it at 40 of 40, close to the back of the group and short of the 1 median. Readers weighing entry price against renewal value get a fair opening price and a thin cover length.

Core features

Wireless is available across the range, which suits players moving between a desktop setup and a console without re-pairing. The standard cover runs for 0.25 years, and extended warranty is offered, so longer protection can be added at the point of purchase. Product types are limited to controller, so the choice is pads only, with no headset, keyboard or mouse options alongside. Platforms covered are pc, playstation and xbox, which is the broadest part of the offer.

The company behind it

ModdedZone operates as Kosi Group, LLC DBA MODDEDZONE, based in the United States, and trades in a single market, US. Buyers reach the team through email, phone and help centre, so phone and a self-service help centre are both available alongside email and a community space. Returns run for 14 days, and delivery is free once an order passes $24.99. Store categories listed are gaming and audio, keeping the range focused on gaming and audio gear.

How ModdedZone compares

Frequently asked questions

What does a controller from ModdedZone cost?+

Prices start from €71.95 for the range. That entry point places ModdedZone at 32 of 47 brands compared on price from, so it sits in the middle rather than at the budget end. Larger orders also qualify for free delivery above $24.99.

How long is the warranty on a controller?+

The standard cover runs for 0.25 years. That is shorter than the 1 median warranty across the comparison group. Extended warranty is available, so buyers wanting longer protection can add it when ordering.

Which platforms do the controllers work with?+

ModdedZone covers pc, playstation and xbox. One controller line therefore suits desktop play as well as console and handheld sessions. Wireless is available across the range, so the same pad can move between setups without re-pairing.

Can I return a controller if it does not work?+

Returns are accepted for 14 days. Support is handled through email, phone and help centre, so a return or a fault can be raised by phone, by email or through the help centre. The store trades only in the United States, which affects delivery rather than the returns window.

Is ModdedZone a US-only store?+

Yes, markets are limited to US, and the business is based in the United States. Buyers in the US avoid delivery charges, while orders from elsewhere are handled with shipping applied. The listed product range is controller, focused on pads rather than wider gaming hardware.

Does ModdedZone sell more than controllers?+

The listed product types are controller, so the catalogue centres on controllers. Store categories are gaming and audio, covering gaming and audio gear. For headsets, mice or keyboards, brands such as HyperX and CORSAIR cover more product types within gaming hardware.

How can I contact ModdedZone for support?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, which includes email, phone, a help centre and a community space. Phone and the help centre give a faster route to an answer than email alone. The business trades as Kosi Group, LLC DBA MODDEDZONE.

Does ModdedZone offer free delivery?+

Free delivery applies to orders above $24.99. Orders below that level carry a delivery charge, and the store ships only to US. Building a single order above the threshold is the practical way to avoid shipping costs.
