Our verdict

ULTIMEA is the low cost way into soundbars, speakers and portable speakers, and it suits buyers who want a cheap entry point and a returns window of 15 to 50 days to test a box at home. Soundbars start at $65.97, and battery life is the part of the package to read closely.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Soundbars start at $65.97, and the brand ranks 35 of 64 on entry price.
  • The catalogue covers soundbars, speakers and portable speakers, so a soundbar and a portable speaker come from the same seller under the same 1 to 2 years cover.
  • Returns run 15 to 50 days, so a soundbar can be tried at home before you keep it.
  • Free delivery starts at $25 and the store sells audio, tv and refurbished, which offers another route to the same product.

Cons

  • Noise cancelling is not part of the range, so a ULTIMEA soundbar plays rather than quiets a room.
  • Support runs on email, help centre and community only, so a fault on a portable speaker has to be reported in writing.
  • Battery life of 16 hours on the party speaker ranks 54 of 61, the weaker part of the package.
  • Shipping reaches US, CA and MX, so shoppers outside that list have no listed route to the store.

Visit

Who it suits

  • New buyers who want soundbars, speakers and portable speakers from one seller, with a returns window of 15 to 50 days to try a set at home.
  • Shoppers on a budget who would rather order now and listen than compare battery figures, since soundbars start at $65.97.
  • Anyone keeping a speaker for a long time who wants the option of an extended warranty on top of 1 to 2 years.

Who should look elsewhere

  • Headphone and earbud buyers, because Skullcandy lists headphones, earbuds and speakers and ULTIMEA's range is soundbars, speakers and portable speakers.
  • Turntable and hi-fi shoppers, because JBL lists headphones, earbuds and speakers and Edifier lists headphones, earbuds and speakers while ULTIMEA stays with soundbars, speakers and portable speakers.
  • Noise cancelling buyers, because the range does not offer it and JBL spans headphones, earbuds and speakers instead.

How it compares on our data

ULTIMEA ranks 35 of 64 brands on price from, which puts entry pricing toward the cheaper end of the speakers and soundbars group. Battery hours tell the other story, because the brand sits at 54 of 61, near the back of the table. The trade-off a reader weighs is therefore plain. Pay less at the start, then accept shorter unplugged listening. A buyer shopping by price alone has plenty of room under the budget, while someone planning music away from a socket should look at other names first. Read the two ranks side by side before deciding, because the gap between them is the whole choice.

Core features

The range offers no noise cancelling, and that shapes what a ULTIMEA box is for. These are speakers and soundbars that play music and lift television dialogue rather than devices that quiet a room. The party speaker carries 16 hours of battery, so it is built to move between rooms or out to a balcony instead of staying beside a socket. Warranty runs 1 to 2 years, and an extended warranty is sold for anyone keeping a set longer than the standard cover. Read the two together and the picture is home listening with a portable option attached, at a budget price, rather than a race for specifications.

The company behind it

ULTIMEA has been trading since 2015, recent enough that the catalogue looks built around a small set of speaker families rather than decades of ranges. Support runs on email, help centre and community only, so a question about a soundbar goes by email, into the help centre or to the community. There is no phone line, which matters most for a fault on a portable speaker away from home, since that conversation has to be written and attached to an order. Buyers who want a person on a call should weigh that first, and buyers happy to write a short message will find the help centre a reasonable place to start.

How ULTIMEA compares

Frequently asked questions

How much does a ULTIMEA soundbar cost?+

Soundbars start at $65.97, and the brand places 35 of 64 on entry price in this group. That is the figure you meet first in the soundbars range, before any extended warranty or added accessory.

Can I return a ULTIMEA speaker if I do not like it?+

Returns run 15 to 50 days, so the window depends on the product and the reason. Soundbars, speakers and portable speakers all sit in soundbars, speakers and portable speakers, and each purchase is handled under the same published return and refund terms.

What warranty comes with ULTIMEA kit?+

Warranty runs 1 to 2 years, and an extended warranty is sold for longer cover. Buyers who keep a soundbar for years may prefer the longer plan, while the standard cover suits a portable speaker for a casual listener.

How do I reach ULTIMEA support?+

Support runs on email, help centre and community only. Email, the help centre and the community cover most questions, but there is no phone channel listed, so a fault report goes in writing and is tied to an order.

Where does ULTIMEA ship?+

The store serves US, CA and MX, covering most of Europe, North America and parts of Asia. Shoppers outside that list have no listed route to the store, so check your market against it before ordering.

Does any ULTIMEA product cancel noise?+

Noise cancelling is not offered across the range, so a ULTIMEA soundbar is chosen for how it plays rather than for quieting a room. The party speaker carries 16 hours of battery and an IPX4 rating.

What kinds of products does ULTIMEA make?+

The range covers soundbars, speakers and portable speakers. Compared with JBL, which lists headphones, earbuds and speakers, ULTIMEA stays inside home and portable sound, which suits buyers whose list stops at speakers and soundbars. Edifier's headphones, earbuds and speakers reaches further into hi-fi gear.

Is delivery free, and are there refurbished options?+

Free delivery starts at $25, and the store sells audio, tv and refurbished, so a refurbished unit sits alongside new audio and TV kit. Plan the basket size against the threshold, since a small accessory order sits below it.

How long does the battery last?+

The party speaker lists 16 hours of battery, and the brand ranks 54 of 61 on battery hours, so runtime is the weaker side of the package. A soundbar for a television does not rely on battery at all.
