Pros and cons
Gmktec
Pros
- Entry prices start at $169.99, which ranks 11 of 34 brands on starting price.
- Build to order is offered, so you can pick a configuration instead of a fixed bundle.
- The range covers mini pc, desktop and gaming pc, so mini PCs, desktops and gaming PCs sit with one seller.
Cons
- Warranty is 1 year, which ranks 14 of 34 brands and sits under the site median of 1 years.
- Returns run 7 days, a short window if a mini PC arrives with a fault you need to spot quickly.
- Support runs on email, chat and help centre only, with no phone line listed for hardware troubleshooting.
OTTO
Pros
- Returns run 30 days, well above the 14 days at Akkuk.hu.
- The warranty runs 2 years, and extended warranty is available on top of it.
- The store spans computers, phones and audio, so a laptop, a phone and audio gear can share a single order.
Cons
- Build to order is not offered, so memory and storage are fixed when the product page is written.
- The market list holds DE alone, so delivery and warranty terms stop at the border.
- Memory tops out at 128 GB, so the largest memory configurations on sale stop there.

OTTO
Who it suits

Questions about each
Gmktec
How much does the cheapest Gmktec machine cost?+
Entry prices start at $169.99, and that sits at 11 of 34 brands on starting price. Delivery is $0, so the figure you see is close to the figure you pay. Students can do better still, since a student discount is offered.
What can I buy from Gmktec?+
The range covers mini pc, desktop and gaming pc, so you can move between a mini PC, a desktop and a gaming PC without changing seller. RAM goes up to 192 GB across those machines. Machines run on Windows, so a Windows machine is the only kind listed here.
OTTO
How long do I have to change my mind on an OTTO order?+
OTTO allows 30 days to send an item back, a long window for a retailer of this size, and that policy is the clearest reason to place an order here. Akkuk.hu allows 14 days, so buyers who deliberate for several weeks are better served by OTTO. The window applies across the range, not just to computers.
What warranty comes with a machine bought from OTTO?+
Standard cover runs 2 years, with Otto GmbH & Co. KGaA named as the seller behind the order. An extended warranty is offered for shoppers who want cover past that term. The median warranty across the stores compared here sits at 1 years, so OTTO's default term already sits at the upper end of the group.
